Organize companies and people, control project access, recover interrupted uploads, and confirm that files reached Google Drive.
Permanent intake spaces
Give the right people access to each project
A project is a permanent client upload space with its own hosted page, Google Drive destination, presentation, access list, and received-file history.
- Create a project after Google Drive is connected and at least one client person exists.
- Name the job, add the message clients should see, and select every person who needs access.
- If a person belongs to more than one company, select the one company they represent on this project.
- Open the permanent client page in a private window and test it with an assigned person’s credentials.
Access and project status
- Access is individual. Other people at the same company do not inherit the project.
- You can change assignments from either the project page or an individual person’s page.
- Published projects are available to assigned people. Draft and archived projects are not available on client pages.
- Archiving removes the project from active-plan usage without deleting its configuration or tracked history.
Troubleshoot a received file
- Find the file under Files or the project’s Received files section, then choose Diagnose.
- Check whether the upload is resumable, verification is pending, Drive needs attention, or only notification delivery failed.
- Do not ask a client to resend a completed, verified file only because its notification email was missed.
